From UK to France: As of 00.01 Monday 22nd February COVID testing requirements for hauliers travelling from Europe to the UK via France are changing. The testing requirement still remains in place. Industrial action restricting access to the Frejus Tunnel

Due to an unannounced haulier/driver strike in France the entry of French side of the Frejus Tunnel is closed. French drivers are currently blocking access to the tunnel as part of the strike action. The Italian side of the tunnel currently remains open (one-way traffic). As this was an unannounced strike, we do not yet know how long this will contunie for. Following the new Dutch government requirements for rapid Covid-19 tests directly before departure, a test area has been established at the Terminal in Hull port to enable freight drivers to be tested before they are due to depart. The tests are fully compliant and certification is issued to the driver upon completion. Tests continue to be free for all freight drivers until 2 February 2021.
