We would have been asked to remind all users of the service that Le Shuttle Freight can accommodate vehicles up to:-
- 4.20 Mtrs High
- 2.60 Mtrs Wide (plus wing mirrors)
- 19.40 Mtrs Long
- 44,000KG’s / 44 Tonnes MGVW
- Powered by; Diesel, Bio Diesel, Petrol or Electricity

Weighbridges are to be reinstated in both terminals to help control any issue over excessively overweight vehicles, and random selection will take place to ascertain the weight of a cross section of vehicles travelling via the facility.
This requirement has been brought about to safeguard the infrastructure and vehicles that are found to be running above the acceptable threshold will simply be rejected from the terminal.
Should any vehicles be found to be overweight the vehicle will be:
- rejected from the terminal immediately.
- their bookings will remain valid and only invoiced if a successful crossing is made as per our T&C’s.
- as / when said vehicle returns / attempts to travel in the future it will be subject to control for a period of time.
