Mont Blanc Tunnel will undergo structural maintenance and will be closed to all traffic from Monday, September 2, 2024, at 17:00 until Monday, December 16, 2024, at 17:00. Several alternative routes are recommended.
At 60 years old, the Mont Blanc Tunnel is one of the first major European tunnels to undergo extensive structural renovation.
Please note that another closure is planned for 2025, and we will provide updates once details are confirmed.
