Update Your Toll Information: Avoid Overpaying on German & Austrian Motorways
With the implementation of new European Vignette regulations effective from 1st December 2023, the motorway toll charges in Germany and Austria are set to increase significantly. The new regulations reclassify Co2 tariffs, and the level of increase in toll charges will depend on the Co2 emissions of your vehicle. However, by providing specific information about your vehicles, you can limit the amount of increase.
Here's what you need to do:
1. Provide Your Vehicle's Max. Permissible Mass (F1):
- It is mandatory to provide the Max. Permissible Mass (F1) to ensure that your toll boxes remain operational in Germany and Austria post 1st December 2023.
- Without the Max. Permissible Mass (F1), your toll box will default to the highest cost classification, potentially increasing your toll charges by over €0.14 per KM.
2. Provide Additional Vehicle Information:
- By providing more detailed information about your vehicles, you can further minimize the toll cost increase.
- Complete our online form and follow the guidelines provided below to submit your additional information.
3. Timely Submission:
- Upon receiving your information, it can take up to 4 weeks to process and apply the updated toll rates to your account.
- We strongly urge you to submit this information as soon as possible to avoid paying higher toll charges.
Avoid Paying More Than Necessary
Take action now to provide the necessary vehicle information and keep your toll charges as low as possible. Ensure that your toll boxes remain operational and avoid the highest cost classification that could significantly impact your travel expenses.
