What is an EU EORI?
An EU EORI number (Economic Operators Registration and Identification) is a unique identifier assigned to businesses and individuals engaged in import or export activities within the European Union. It is used by customs authorities to track shipments, process declarations, and ensure compliance with EU customs procedures.
Why do I need an EU EORI?
An EU EORI number is REQUIRED if you are submitting an ICS2 ENS (Entry Summary Declaration). Without it, you cannot submit your pre-arrival customs declarations, and your goods may be delayed or refused entry into the EU.

-
It is mandatory for all ICS2 ENS filings.
Important: Even if you are using a customs representative, an EORI number is still needed to complete ICS2 ENS submissions.
