We regret to inform you that sailings are currently suspended due to a National Day of Action in France. When services resume at 17:00 (CET) P&O Ferries will be running a shuttle service between Dover & Calais until all traffic is cleared.
P&O FERRIES INFORMATION
We have received information of a National Day of Action in France on the 9th February 2023 which is expected to affect multiple outlets and services throughout France.
We have had confirmation that P&O port operations will be suspended during the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 (CET)
When services resume at 17:00 (CET) P&O Ferries will be running a shuttle service between Dover & Calais until all traffic is cleared.
Driver welfare is a priority for P&O Ferries, and we are pleased to advise you we they be offering comfort facilities and refreshments for our drivers in port and onboard our vessels during the stoppage.
We will update our website and social media platforms with additional information received.
EUROTUNNEL INFORMATION
The Eurotunnel service is currently running normally with no waiting time and with up to 5 departures per hour.
They will monitor the situation and activate capacity protection if required.
IRISH FERRIES INFORMATION
CALAIS Port have now confirmed a strike will take place today from 08.00 local time and that ships will not be handled by the Port.
The following Irish Ferries sailings are expected to be impacted;
Ex Dover
0930 ex Dover - To be Confirmed
0655 ex Dover - Cancelled
1145 ex Dover - To be Confirmed
Ex Calais
1020 ex Calais - Cancelled
1255 ex Calais - To be Confirmed
1510 ex Calais - To be Confirmed
We will monitor the situation during the course of the morning and will update you with any developments once we have them.
DFDS INFORMATION
They have had confirmation that port operations will be suspended during the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 (CET)
When services resume at 17:00 (CET) P&O Ferries they be running a shuttle service between Dover & Calais until all traffic is cleared but this is likely to take 24 to 48 hours to complete.
*Dover – Dunkirk route is still open for travel.
Travelling from Dover, proceed to port as booked to be transferred to Dunkirk. Travelling from Calais, please redirect to Dunkirk to be shipped on the first available departure.
