Traffic in the ports is free flowing. The 13:40 sailing from Dover is now loaded and is due to depart very soon. The 15:50 from Calais is loaded and we anticipate departure to be at 17:00 (CET).
Once operations have resumed P&O will run a shuttle service to clear all traffic from both ports

P&O FERRIES INFORMATION
We have received information of a National Day of Action in France on the 19th of January 2023 which is expected to affect multiple outlets and services throughout France.
We have had confirmation that port operations will be suspended during the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 (CET)
When services resume at 17:00 (CET) P&O Ferries will be running a shuttle service between Dover & Calais until all traffic is cleared.
Driver welfare is a priority for P&O Ferries, and we are pleased to advise you P&O will be offering comfort facilities and refreshments for drivers in port and onboard their vessels during the stoppage.
We will update our website and social media platforms with additional information received.
EUROTUNNEL INFORMATION
Eurotunnel provided guidance that their services should not be affected during tomorrows strike action.
We cannot give you a definite answer unfortunately as the planned strikes are national and the location of the strikes are not known.
IRISH FERRIES INFORMATION
This disruption will impact all ferry operators utilising the port of Calais as well as other French Ports. Irish Ferries have been informed that Calais Port will be closed to shipping traffic, however you will still be able to access the port and check-in as normal with driver accompanied freight.
For queries relating to the drop-off and collection of unaccompanied units please contact your account manager.
In anticipation of this impact to our services in Calais, the following schedule will apply tomorrow on that route.

When services resume at 17:00 (CET) P&O Ferries will be running a shuttle service between Dover & Calais until all traffic is cleared but this is likely to take 24 to 48 hours to complete.
*Dover – Dunkirk route is still open for travel.
