Attention Motis FSA Customers,
Please be advised of major roadworks taking place over the upcoming weekend and Monday near our facilities. The works will occur at night on the Viaduct, Lord Warden House roundabout, and part of the Eastbound carriageway to the Eastern Docks. The details are as follows:
Roadworks Schedule
- Dates: 1st June - 3rd June
- Times: 20:00 - 06:00
Access Instructions
During these three nights, please follow the modified route to enter and exit the premises:
- Entry/Exit Point:
- Enter/exit via Union Street.
- Port of Dover Traffic Management will be in place to assist.
- Access Route:
- Use the MOTIS manual gate instead of following Lord Warden Square traffic, which is designated for small boats and LWH personnel.
- Drive into the car park via the Emergency gate, which will be manned.
Manual Ticketing System
MOTIS will operate a manual ticketing system during these works. Please be diligent when releasing vehicles. An additional Marshall will be on-site to ensure smooth operations.
Additional Road Closure on Sunday 2nd June
Another significant project by Highways England will involve a road closure on Snargate Street. Details are as follows:
- Date: Sunday, 2nd June
- Times: 20:00 - 05:00 (may finish earlier)
Closure Details:
Snargate Street will be closed from the Eastbound Limekiln roundabout to the York Street Junction.
Traffic Diversions:
- Port Freight & MOTIS Export Traffic: Follow signs to the Port via Courtwood Interchange.
- Eastbound Access: Use Marine Parade for destinations like the Town Centre and Deal.
- All Outbound Traffic: Will be diverted via the B2011 (Folkestone Road) for the duration of the closure on Sunday.
Please plan your journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel due to these diversions and road closures. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period of essential maintenance.
For any further information or assistance, please contact MOTIS staff who will be managing the site access and traffic during these works.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
