BORDER FORCE STRIKE ACTION 15 MARCH 23
The Public and Commercial Services (PCS) Union has formally notified Border Force that around 100,000 civil servants, including their members in the Home Office, will be called on to participate in strike action on 15 March 2023.
The proposed strike action will impact international arrivals at all UK ports, as well as those travelling to the UK from UK border controls in Calais, Dunkirk and Coquelles in Northern France.
This includes all Border Force staff, with the exemption of those based in Northern Ireland and Europe.
It will also include all office based staff, Border Force Maritime Command and operational response to illegal small boats arrivals, amongst others.
Shifts that start on 15 March 2023 are in scope for this industrial action, with impacts on shifts going into 16 March.
