FUEL SURCHARGES
As you are no doubt aware, the esculating cost of Oil has resulted in most major shipping companies implimenting a fuel surcharge on top of the Freight rates. Motis Ireland only pass these on at the prevailing rate, from the 1st April 2008 we will be showing these seperatly on our invoices (previously charged on all encompassing rate) to ensure full clarity to all our customers. 25/03/2007 - Seatruck Inagurates new Vessel on Heysham to Warrenpoint route.
Easter Sunday saw the first departure of the "Clipper Point", Seatrucks new, custom built vessel for the Heysham to Warrenpoint. With a capacty of 120 Trailer and a Speed of 21 Knots it not only offers greater capacity, but also shorter crossing times which allows for later cut off's.
The Driver accompanied facilities are also greatly improved, whilst this is limited to 12 per sailing, we have no doubt it will prove popular with many Transport Operators.
